Adobe version 25.2 brings generative extend, media intelligence to Premiere Pro

Plus, Adobe has made sure that any outputs from Generative Extend come with Content Credentials, so you can easily identify AI-generated media.

Generative Extend: Thanks to Adobe Firefly, this feature allows editors to effortlessly add up to ten seconds of ambient audio and two seconds of video at the start or end of a clip. It’s a fantastic way to create smoother transitions or to extend scenes without needing extra footage.

AI-Powered Search Panel: With the help of natural language descriptions and AI, the new Search panel helps editors quickly find specific footage. This makes the editing process a breeze, as Premiere Pro automatically identifies elements in video clips, such as objects, locations, and camera angles.

Caption Translation: This AI tool translates video captions into 27 different languages, making it easier to localize content and ensure accessibility for audiences around the world.

Premiere Color Management: Color correction has never been simpler or more effective, making it a lot easier to edit log and raw files.

Additional Workflow Improvements: The latest update introduces dynamic waveforms, colored sequence labels, and expanded GPU-accelerated format support, all designed to streamline the editing process.

This high-performance preview playback caching system boosts real-time preview playback by making better use of RAM and local storage, resulting in smoother animation previews. It also comes with advanced tools for 3D motion design, giving motion designers a wider range of creative options and greater control over their projects. Plus, the High Dynamic Range (HDR) monitoring allows for more accurate color representation and grading in motion graphics projects.
